Since 1983, the mission of 3,000-member Independent Book Publishers Association (formerly PMA) has centered on education of both emerging and experienced publishers—how to start, grow, and run a profitable business.
After hearing from members and vendors for years that they wished PubU could be moved out of hot and humid summertime New York, IBPA has moved its flagship educational event to cool and brisk San Francisco in March 2012.
Talk about a change!
However, what will not change will be the top-notch line up of industry professionals educating IBPA members on the best tools and practices in the ever-changing publishing landscape.
So now is the time to join the industry’s premiere vendors of all manner of products and services and head on out West for a day and one-half of seminars, meals and opportunities to meet and educate IBPA members in person to how you can deliver what they need to stay in front of business.
Vendor sponsors will be anchored by a tabletop exhibit area near the Registration Tables and ample gathering space in and around break out session rooms.

- This will be anchored by a table-top exhibit area outside the Presidio Ballroom and ample gathering space in and around break out session rooms
